This change is part of a group reorganisation and will have no effect on you as a policyholder.  Your insurance will remain in force and your cover will remain with the same insurer. Groves, John & Westrup Limited has roots dating back over 195 years and our new structure will enable us to continue to enhance our products and service levels, whilst strengthening internal operations within the Munich Re Group.     

GJW Direct will continue to trade as usual with the high service levels you experience and expect.

  • Information about our services

    Our services to you may include arranging your insurance policy with the insurer, helping you to make any changes to your policy and to submit a claim. We act as an agent of the insurer under a delegated authority agreement, which allows us to bind risks, issue documents and handle claims.

    GJW Direct acts on a non-advised basis; this means we provide information about our products and services but do not make a personal recommendation as to the suitability of the insurance policy.

  • How we are paid for our services:

    We receive commission from the insurer which is a percentage of the total annual premium. We apply administration charges for arranging, amending, renewing and cancelling of any insurance policy. Details of any fees/charges will be declared to you in advance of them being incurred.
